It’s a shame that Bill will wind up as just a one-season companion. There’s a lot more to the character than there was to Clara or Rose.

I agree, though I am glad that Bill at least isn’t dead, a cyberman, or a space water ghost (I think?)

There is something to be said for one season companions—Donna Noble, Zoe, Romana 1, and Liz Shaw all had stellar essentially one-season stints in the TARDIS. (Except that Liz actually didn’t travel on the TARDIS, take it easy, nerds).

The Doctor REALLY needs to stop flying the TARDIS whilst regenerating.

Isn’t there some weird way in which the TARDIS is part of the regeneration process? Eh I don’t really even want to understand the show’s mythology to that level of geekery though (and yet, here we are).

Almost all of the Doctor’s regenerations have taken place in or near the TARDIS (or had Time Lord assistance like the Watcher), so I think it’s safe to say it’s at least an important part of the process.

Excited for this, and for the Big Finish audioplays Bradley is doing in 2018, and for the new Doctor and companions. Basically, Doctor Who is exciting!
