      I was expecting more jokes about how the sum they paid her is petty cash to one such as her, maybe some line about how it will be kept in an old jam jar on top of the fridge or something.

    Ugh, she also helped give the world Dr Phil, Dr Oz (peddler of pablums and “medicine” and who once had a episode on gay conversion therapy that “taught the controversy”), and The Secret. She also helped people get into classic books, so it’s not all the worst.

    I’m so over the both real and joking ideas of celebrities running for President. There’s some serious activist celebrities out there that are awesome, but I really think people need at least some level of REAL political experience before running for president. Even if it’s brief, something is better than nothing.

    That being said, Oprah running for a position in Congress or some sort of state office would be amazing! And I’m totally into that idea.
