    Dark City is a truly great film. The Crow is fine, but I wonder if it would have been better if Lee had not died prior to filming ending.

      I like the character a lot better in the movie than the original comic. A lot of that is Lee and the rest is Ernie Hudson and the girl character (The whole movie is really well cast.) So more Lee probably would have made it better. It’s honestly one of my favorite movies. It isn’t a great movie, but it does a good job of telling the story it wants to tell and it looks great.

      Agreed. If there’s anything the three(?) sequels showed us, it’s that it’s almost impossible for the Crow not to come across as a sad Hot Topic mopelord. Lee still stands as the only one to make the concept watchable, and the boardroom ass-kicking is one of the great action scenes of the nineties.
