    Kit Harrington is the only one who could play a decent Nightwing considering he’s really good at brooding and he kind of looks like Dick Grayson. Plus it’d be awesome if they could adapt this scene from The Titans #12 in which Dick gives physics the middle finger by lassoing a nuclear missile in midair.

      I’ve always felt Steven R. McQueen (Jeremy from “The Vampire Diaries”) would make a terrific Nightwing. He was also campaigning for it a few years back when TNT had first announced doing a “Titans” television show.

    developing a DC superhero movie about Nightwing, a.k.a. Dick Grayson, the original Robin. Grayson has been one of DC’s most popular characters for years

    Is this movie supposed to tie in with the DCEU, or is this like that proposed Scorsese Joker origin movie? Because frankly I don’t see how you make a Nightwing movie work in that messed up jumble of a universe (at least any time soon). Without a well established Bat-family, it seems as asinine as trying to make a Venom movie without Spider-man. If I think about it logically, you’d have a Batman solo film that introduces Robin. Then in the Batman sequel Bruce and Dick split up. Then you do the Nightwing solo film. Why is DC constantly going backwards?

    “We’ll make one Superman movie and then introduce Batman and Wonder Woman in the sequel!”

    “I’ll do you one better, how about we make a Suicide Squad movie, introduce the Joker, but he’s not the antagonist, and we still haven’t even made a solo Batman film!”

    “Hold my drink! I propose we make a Justice League movie, still without a Batman solo film, that also introduces Flash and Cyborg.”

    Also, I don’t think Nightwing has the mass appeal people on niche websites seem to think, he’s NOT Harley Quinn. If you polled 100 random people on the street, maybe 5 of them know Nightwing is Dick Grayson is the first Robin. I’d bet dollars to donuts no more than 1 of those 100 could tell you what city he fights crime in.

      Right. What I’m saying though is that the people on this blog, while more informed than the average person, are not who studios are making superhero movies for. Nightwing doesn’t have the same appeal Batman does. So logic says you make a Batman movie, introduce Dick, then make a Nightwing movie. At this rate they will make a Nightwing movie before a solo Batman film. Which to me, is nuts.

    Whatever the opposite of Nightwing is (Dayleg or Morningneck) that’s what we should advocate for. This guy is a doofus and pretty sure no doofuses allowed at Wayne manor.

    THE DCEU is crumbling so I doubt Nightwing would appear anywhere else other than his announced solo film a few of my choices are Kit Harrington, Dacre Montgomery and maybe even Dylan OBrien
