That Rufio cover is indeed awesome. I’d probably include it on my list as well, along with “Steppin’ Stone” by The Sex Pistols, “TNT” by Dynamite Boy, “White Wedding” by Battershell, and “Have You Ever Seen the Rain?” by The Ramones.

I forgot about Me First and the Gimme Gimmes doing “The Phantom of the Opera.” Sorry, Ramones. You’re all dead anyway, so I’m sure you won’t mind getting bumped. Honorable mention to Lagwagon doing “I Want it That Way” and Autopilot Off doing “Mrs Brown.”

Man...I used to be really into Punk covers in college. Though half of them were labeled wrong on Napster.

My choices: “True Colors” by Leatherface, “Just Like Heaven” by Dinosaur Jr., “Kids in America” by The Wynona Riders and “Police & Thieves” by The Clash.

The Dino Jr. Cure cover is the best, especially the way it just ... stops.

I also like Gang Green’s Voices Carry.

I’m by no means a punk music connoisseur, but Streetlight Manifesto’s cover of Such Great Heights gives me the best goosebumps every time.
