    I’m kinda pleased that Jackson has continued to make awesomely pointy guitars while apparently managing to get people to buy them well outside the shredder crowd. Ibanez survived the same pressures, but they largely stuck to the more conservative styles.

    B.C. Rich stuck to the hard angles and pointiness they’re known for, but maybe a little too much? I love this shit and even I think that slave-catcher headstock they used for years was hideous.

    Dammit, you’ve forced me to admit it: pointy headstocks and the phrase “stripped-down” are not mutually exclusive.
