      Despite what Silence of the Lambs & etc. would have you believe, serial killers aren’t generally that bright. The successful ones - the ones who get away with an actual series of murders - are usually lucky. They happen to like killing people nobody else really cares about or who are otherwise vulnerable. This guy was killing homeless people. Jeffrey Dahmer killed a bunch of young, non-white gay men in Milwaukee in the 90s. Nobody knows how many black and mentally handicapped children Albert Fish killed in the 1920s.

      And, of course, sex workers. Always sex workers.

      Why is it that we always make fun of a criminal’s undoing, rather than applaud it? Sardonic humor, I know, but if only more criminals were so generous (there’s mine).

    Another Black woman making life better for our community. This serial killer was stupid, but he was getting away with these murders. I’m glad the families will get some justice.

    I think it’s nice that the woman, whether she knew or suspected anything turned in the gun the cops. This sounds like old Law & Order episode all we need now is Lenny Brisco’s funny one liner.
