I envy you A- and B-cup wearers who can walk into Victoria’s Secret and buy a cute bra for $20"

Bishwet? Where is this Victoria’s Secret that you speak of? I have been continuously annoyed that I have to pay the same $45 for a bra when I wear a 32b on a strong day. That is essentially two eye patches. Two of those little condiment cups they give you at a restaurant. There’s more fabric in my cat’s collar. But they going to look me in my eyes and try to charge me $45! I feel like my bras should be free after all you just using scrap fabric that was on the floor.

I do understand your struggle my ex wore a 36DDD and I was shocked by realities like titty sweat and having to wear multiple bras at once. My gawd you have to wash under there? I don’t even have an under there! That was so amazing to me.

But make no mistake that the tyranny of bra pricing does not discriminate. Victoria Secret does too much for all cup sizes LOL

This is why I give VS 5 more years tops. They haven’t updated their marketing or offerings since 2004.

As a comparison Aerie is pulling in strong sales numbers and girls still love them.

Just check out their branding to know why. Male gazey supermodels in nipple pasties are out.

Gap has the same sizing (at least at the 34d level), and their tshirt bra goes on sale for $20. And it’s the same if not better the vs bras. I mean, you won’t get the patterns and shit, but I just want black and beige and sometimes a colour. I don’t need butterflies and crystals that are visible through my shirt.

You’re thinking about it all wrong. Do you have any idea what kind of competitive advantage that cup size is going to give you?

P.S. That dr. obviously stole a bra from a patient.

Then I’ll just have to go to Amazon and order a 6-pack of boxer briefs that will last me 3 years for 20 bucks out of spite.

The big boob struggle is awful! I recently lost 40 pounds and was told that my boobs would get smaller. They didn’t. Now I’m a 32G, which no store ever has in stock. To add to this, I live in China. I went home for the summer and spent most of the two months trying to find bras that I could bring back with me. Definitely wasn’t how I was planning to spend my vacation.

The 32 band is a unicorn no matter what cup size you wear. I have no idea why that is. Technically I could wear a 34A but until recently I’ve been too proud to reach into the A cup drawer. But whatever I got nice legs a wonderful ass and my little titties are very pretty so I’m going to go ahead and go with the A’s. Maybe you could also size up on the band and down on the cup?

I wear a 30DDD. I have resigned myself to basically always ordering my bras online. Even Nordstrom usually only has maybe like one or two bras in that size in the entire store in stock.

As a lifetime member of the IBTC I can assure you that you are NOT missing anything at Victoria’s Secret. They may look cute but they are uncomfortable and the quality sucks ass.

And if I may be so bold, the bra you are wearing in the pic up there looks great! Very stylish and comfy and the ladies look quite supported!

VS is fine. Their underwire bras are the only underwire bras I can wear because they have so much cushioning around the wire. But now, there are so many places that bralettes and wireless bras that VS isn’t worth it.

I don’t think Torrid carries bras past G cups and a 48 band, which is a bummer, but they make wonderful bras. I, too, have ginormous boobs, and I love my Torrid bras- totally switched from LB.

I’ve been curious about theirs. Are they true to size? Do they have different lines, and if so, are there any that you are partial to?

They are true to size, except, in my experience, the unlined bras, which seem to have smaller cups. I love their plunge bras most- durable, comfortable, supportive, sexy. Lane Bryant plunge bras never fit me right- my boobs would always fall out of them when I bent over. In LB bras, I preferred the balconettes, which I don’t love as much in Torrid. Torrid also makes a wide variety of awesome and pretty bralettes- I go up a size from my shirt size on those because my boobs are large for my frame. Torrid has a lot of options.

eta: the real, major selling point for me is that I’ve never broken a Torrid underwire. I always eventually destroyed my LB bras. Also, Torrid has good bra sales often.

Um... Monique, bae. I bought 8 bras from LB last week during the same sale and spent less than $200, including shipping and taxes? Sounds like you only got 2 more than me?

    Did you use a coupon?

Download the Honey extension for Chrome. It has saved me so much money b/c it searches for coupons to get you the best deal.<— I promise I m not a spam bot. It really does help. It even gives a pricing history on Amazon so you can watch for drops.

I don’t know how you did that. You couldn’t use coupons with the $29.50 per bra deal. You likely caught some of the bras that were less than $29.50. The ones in my size are usually never cheaper than that.

I just looked it up again, and yes ma’am I did use a coupon code w/the $29.50 bras. It was $65 off $200, to be specific. If you would like, I could copy and paste my receipt into a personal email to you?

Like I said, I just use the Honey extension and every time I check out of a site, it runs through all the codes people have entered to see if they work. Sometimes they do work with promotions. Sometimes they don’t.

I just bought a beautifully patterned Goddess 42 I-cup bra on Amazon for $45.

I know trying on in person is always best as fittings often vary by brand. But when even my local Lane Bryant refuse to carry anything above a DDD, my options are very limited.

MONIQUE. Although I’m a mere 34E, I feel your pain. Swimsuit and bra shopping in pre-internet days would literally bring me to tears (especially in the days before they allowed women to buy bikinis as separates. As if every woman and girl’s boobs are perfectly matched in size to their ass😒).

So let me share some of the fruits of my lifelong struggle and research: for reasons unknown to me, Europe has a far better understanding of women’s bra sizes and there’s an abundance of manufacturers who sell bras (and swimsuits!!) made to actually support women with supersized breasts without looking like our grandmother all swaddled up to her neck.

Check out the sorting function on these sites (they often have sales) and feast your eyes on the fact that they sell BAND- AND CUP-SIZED swimwear(!)

(I put in your bra size for those links, but I don’t know if they’ll bring it up properly or you’ll have to sort for your size again).

Also, apparently in UK sizing you’re a 42FF (congrats on losing boob weight instantaneously!😄) so you don’t have to go digging or order the wrong size. (I got you😉)

This is a company that I think has the cutest swimsuits to fit any size boobs and their models are fabulous:

Holy crap, you are one adorable lady! The bra looks pretty great too. I’m a 42 G cup, and I’ve been wearing Elomi bras lately, and while they’re nice enough they’re also expensive as hell. I’ve tried LB bras in the past and was sort of meh about them, but maybe I’ll have to try one of their cotton ones or t-shirt bras. I just need to make sure I get plenty of support because gravity is a bitch.

I’ve tried Elomi too. I bought it at Nordstrom for like $65 if I recall correctly. It wasn’t bad, but I didn’t find many “cute” ones in my size, and that is what draws me back to Lane Bryant time and time again.

I have one Elomi I’d call cute, and the other two are pretty much over the shoulder boulder holders, so I’m definitely on the lookout for cute ones! I hate that the pretty ones only go up to like a C cup most of the time, then they start looking like grandma undies.
