I cannot imagine how anyone could do that. I used to live in an area with a very high rate of auto theft, and in two years, there were three cars stolen when they were left running outside a shop with a baby in the backseat. In two of the three cases, the kids made it about a block before realizing they had just inadvertently kidnapped a baby and immediately stopped and turned themselves in, and in the third case, they drove about a mile, pulled over, carefully removed the baby and carseat from the car, and left the child—completely unharmed and strapped in—far off the edge of the road where he could be clearly seen but well away from traffic. As I recall, they got arrested about another mile down the road.

Although those were all horrifying enough, I simply can’t comprehend any of them ending with, “And then they shot the child five fucking times.”

:( That poor little boy. I can’t understand what in the world would possess someone to shoot a six year old.

Yep, I remember a case where a running car was stolen from a driveway with an 8yr old asleep in the back; family was loading up at 4am to drive wherever for camping.
Car got found a mile away, kid STILL sleeping. Think Mr.GTA even locked the car for him.
Just from the stance of trouble/punishment it makes no fucking sense.

Lord have mercy.
