“Why is it one of the paramount of sins?” he’s quoted as saying about homosexuality by New Times Broward Palm Beach in 2003. “Well, it is a very bad kind of sin because it really hurts society in so many ways.” God, however, found a way to punish the homosexuals through HIV-AIDS, he says. “It is a type of judgment for such a sin as this one, homosexuality.”

Homosexuality isn’t the only topic he pushes buttons on.

He was firmly opposed to Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign simply because she was a woman. He worried it would embolden feminists and terrorists, and tear families apart.”

    Well. He seems nice.

Side note, Anne: How did he play football for the Chicago Bears in 1974 if he’s 30-years-old?

Ah. My apologies. Guy looks really young for his age.

Fun trivia: Turns out some questions surround his NFL career.

Homophobia has no place in Christianity. Jesus was all about loving everyone, even people that the elite at the time he was alive scorned. Jesus made sure that people who existed in the margins during the time he was walking, preaching, and teaching, children, women, prostitutes, tax collectors were all welcome to find Him and find their way to G-d because that was what He was about. Excluding anyone is not what He was about. Being Christian is not about saying that you are Christian, it is the hard work of being Christian. Loving should not be a crime, Jesus said nothing about same sex relationships, he had plenty to say about taking care of each other, the sick, the widowed, the poor. This sort of “Christian” gets the side eye from me because if they support Trump they automatically go into the loudly publicly praying hypocrites column that we were warned to watch out for in the bible that I presume they have read and not understood at all.

Wow. It seems like the verbalization of racism was what bothered him.

Or he was willing to eat shit in the hopes that the GOP would turn the US into a theocracy.

The sharpest strategic thing Prez Cheeto ever did was add Pence to the ticket to keep those theocracy hopefuls on the hook.

So he was ok with the racism Trump displayed when he was sued twice over housing discrimination. He was ok with Trump taking out a full page ad in the NY Times calling for the deaths of the Central Park 5, who were later found innocent. He was ok with the pussy grabbing. He’s still ok with the homophobia too, but he draws the line at the NFL protest???

Bullshit. It’s a front for the sake of his congregation. What really happened was, somebody’s coming for his black card and he’s trying to earn some last minute credit.

Eh. You can’t really say a guy like this has had a “come to Jesus” moment.

It’s more like he’s had a “Eh, put the game on,” moment while watching Fox News.

If we believe this hateful guy about his ‘come to Jesus’ moment about the GOPTP and Drumpf, when he is actually telling him what side he’s on to his face, we’re idiots.

Any black person with a brain in their head got that wake up call when he opened his mouth about Mexicans. We knew that we were next on his list. He makes Bush 2 look reasonable which is saying a lot.

But has it ever occurred that the other shoe is about to drop and he was at least trying to be ‘smart enough’ to get the hell out of Dodge before it does? Just saying.
