I was waiting for this article to appear on one of the blogging sites, knew The Root would be on it.
So happy this happened. Lauer is a fucking scumbag who softballs bad men during interviews (like Trump) and has always put his inner sexist on display.
Still they have that outer Fox news racist there so this is just NBC going through the motions and not really doing anything of substance.

Note all the men that were tough on Hillary during her campaign and fluffed Trump have been fired for sexual harassment. I would call this Karma but it’s actually a pattern. A strong woman scared the shit out them, some women too. I hope that this leads to more women running for office. For the record black women tried to save this country.

I remember what feels like a lifetime ago, there was few weeks to a month of a “Where in the World is Matt Lauer?” travel/education segment.
At the same time, Conan O’Brien was still on NBC and joking about his comparatively small budget, and he did “Where in the Building is Andy Richter?” which at one point had him go and find “Matt Lauer’s” car.
Among other jokes, he had a self affirmation tape in the car saying things like “my arms are muscular pythons of love.”
Every time this stuff comes out (roughly every 8 hours at this point) you have to wonder how long people have known about this, and just how much they knew, because it all feels like it’s “Forever” and “Every fuck detail.”
