    Sad.. but I’m confused by your writing. Was he attending Columbia in NY, or attending school in Houston?

      Perhaps he went to Columbia, but was physically working on his dissertation in Houston, considering he might have been home for the holiday weekend.

      At least, that’s how I parsed it.

      “Probably, perhaps, parsed”... I’m just saying Ms. Edwards, whom I enjoy reading, should be more thorough in her reporting and her writing.

    This is so sad.

    I don’t believe for a minute that this is how it happened. Controlling assholes that can’t have you will snuff you out in a second.

    Looks as though Mr. Wade was really doing some good in the world.

    Just another example of when men are “scorned” we more than not resort to violence. We are very small creatures when it comes to coping with emotional trauma.
