    I don’t know where I read it, but someone said that Mueller wouldn’t deal down. Meaning he’s not giving Flynn something to get Manafort or Kushner. He’d only be dealing if he’s giving up Trump.

      I think I have a solution to this crisis.

      We just need to mock up the Internet connection for Trump and feed him a continual nonstop feed of adoration. Here and there someone comes in, pats him on the head and tells him he is such a good boy. Maybe even giving him some ice cream or something. And make sure he has enough crayons.

      Meanwhile, the grownups can conduct business in the room next door without interference from a man-child.

    I’ve been reading Hunter S. Thompson’s collected works on Watergate/Nixon (ending with the most savage eulogy ever in 1994), and smile at each of the parallels I come across.
