Quick question: Had anyone seen that post before Ray brought it up?

I’m not a social media guy, but is it common for employers to tap into significant other timelines as a way to determine a candidates fitness for a job?

Ray Lewis is saying that Kaep was talented enough to hire, but the fact that his feelings (and the feelings of the owner, more importantly) were hurt by dude’s girlfriend kept them away?

Do they even realize how petty that makes them sound? This is a team that stood up for a guy in a murder trial. A team that stood beside an admitted wife beater, but a social media comment by someone that is not...

Ohhhhh, wait a minute, I get it.

This is a “he can’t control his bitch” response!!!

So, not only are these guys cowards, they want to sneak in a little misogyny, too.

I am so done with pro football. I hate myself for even caring about this shit.

For the record the single most overrated defensive player of all time. Yeah I said it. Couldn’t shed blockers, couldn’t cover for shit & basically had two 300 pound tackles in front of him so he never had to navigate through blockers. Ed Reed was ten times the player for The Ravens that he was. Fuck you Ray. I’ll take LT, Reggie, Lambert & Singletary any day.

Nah. Ray Lewis is by no means an overrated football player. By all means he is a sanctimonious asshat which a penchant for cooning, but as a linebacker he was the real HOF deal.

Seconded. NFL commentators and fans had very selective vision when it came to Ray. Watched the Ravens for his final ten years in the NFL, and he was frequently late on hits. His first 2-3 years in the NFL were amazing—but pretty much anything after 2000 was fairly mediocre. Putting on a big, enthusiastic show after turning in mediocre work is effective. Suckers are born every minute when it comes to the NFL.

So Uncle Ray just admitted that he helped collude to keep Colin off The Ravens? Okay NFLPA your move. If you’re willing to go to the mat for Ezekial Elliott, Ray Rice, Tom Brady, Ben Roethelisberger & others you damn well better do something about this. The MLBPA wouldn’t stand for it. Either fight for him or resign DeMaurice Smith. Stop playing tough guy with Bryant Gumbel & bending over & grabbing your ankles when it counts.

I do not think you know what the word “collusion” means. Team leadership deciding not to sign a player is not collusion. If that were the case, every unsigned player out there could claim that.

Look up the 1990 MLBPA Collusion case. The parameters are the same. In that case the owners colluded to suppress salaries & drive down the average player salary. If The NFLPA filed a grievance on behalf of Kap they would have a strong case that owners have gotten together to deny Kap an opportunity. At least three lawyers have gone on record saying this. Roger Cossack being the first.

Its all that “we” s**t that makes this sounds a bit......coonish.

“we are in the back office about to try to get this guy signed”

“we are all having a conversation about bringing Colin Kaepernick in”

“We were going to close the deal to sign him”

He’s trying to suggest he has juice.... but we all know he’s just dropping in, it’s not real gig... As long as that muthafucka still cannot conjugate a verb properly, he’s just a guest coon they let come visit.

Mike Glennon and Thaddeus Lewis are working as QB’s in the NFL this season. I can find no more damning evidence that this has nothing to do with football skill.

This is also the same team that made Janae Rice apologize for getting knocked out.

The irony in the pic and what he claimed went down us just too much! You can’t tell me Biscotti was like “ Tarantino made a movie after Kill Bill?” That’s when petty and butt hurt Lewis went into action, “ Let me explain Boss ( doesn’t he look like the kind of mofo that would call his employer Boss?) , this is RACIST! They are saying I’m an Uncle Tom , that I would have you put your feet on my chest to get rid of your rheumatism !” After Biscotti would look at him perplexed as if he wanted to say “And?” Lewis would scream “ It just IS!!!!”

Ray Lewis is so desperate for love from white America. I know it all stems from that dropped murder charge, but they ain’t just gonna forget about that.

What’s wrong with just living your life with your millions? Why you gotta stab your own folks in the back chasing something you’ll never attain? I don’t get it.

Ray is such a b!tch; who woulda thunk it? In today’s climate of coonin’ crows, HE surprised me. The others—not so much. Looks like Ray & his too-small blazers has turned on us. I hereby revoke both his black card & invite to the cookout(s) until further notice. Personally I am more offended by him saying ‘we’ were about to sign him...’we’—as if he’s a team owner—than I am about the blame he placed on Kaep’s gf. We all know that’s ridiculous: but that ‘we’ sh!t annoyed me. Ray you’re not on their level. You’re a HATER.

Whoa. Because you do not agree with his views you are gonna label him an Uncle Tom and a House N****? Where I come from that earns you a curb stompin. There are ways to disagree and that ain’t it. I’ve seen guns drawn for less than this. This is why we fail as a people

Ray Lewis is a house nigger and sorry to be the one to have to break it to you. If he draws a gun I will return fire. People like Ray Lewis are the reasons we don’t succeed as a people. They have a term for it: Crabs in a barrel. Look it up brother.
