Yeah, sure, he will probably fuck over the greater Houston area, and next month Florida too. But my head is still swimming at how wrong he is about how the brain/memory works. You absolutely can not stimulate the brain and recite 60 pages of a book. And he is a world famous brain surgeon. What. The. Fuck.
Leave it to Trump to appoint a brain surgeon who doesn’t know how the brain works to run a branch of government that he knows even less about. I feel sick.

  Surgeons are mechanics, not mechanical engineers - understanding of the underlying systems is a plus but not necessarily essential. And like both their knowledge doesn’t necessarily carry over to anything else

Given the current administration’s desire not to govern/sabotage government/show complete incompetence, the presence of Ben Carson doesn’t mean shit.
It was going to be Carson or some other stupid choice like Betsy DeVos.
Whatever staff survive at HUD should be sheltering-in-place until the new administration, because they won’t be allowed to do their jobs.
