  I’m sure I’m in the minority (npi) but I really wish you’d stop affirming that narrative (unless it’s just your way of dealing with anxiety).
  I consider myself a citizen on equal footing with anyone else, and I hope any other American citizen whose passport is the same color as mine thinks the same.
  I mean - whose guidance are you going to follow - the son of a Klansman who was the son of this man, whose behavior was so abhorrent over here that the country he came from (yes, he’s an immigrant too) didn’t want to let him back in?

As an outsider looking in on America, you are so very, very broken. I say this fully admitting that no country is perfect (perfection is a fallacy after all), but America still has deep fractures, and there is still a significant portion of your population that is fighting the same wars and battles from hundreds of years ago.
This hate, this fracture, this divide i would hope would go away. That takes education and understanding and you have a whole political party devoted to eroding education and controlling old world narratives. So until education gets fixed these issues will not go away.
Everyone has privilege, these people marching are just the most privileged of the privileged who have no grasp of why they are so privileged and think that other peoples rising privilege somehow think theirs is being diminished.
Where does America go and how does it get better, who knows?
