EXACTLY. There is honestly no other conclusion to be drawn from this shit. “ I Shot him because I feared for my life”, even though there was no realistic threat, isn’t a reasonable excuse for taking a life. We know that the courts recognize this cause civilians (usually) can’t successfully use this excuse, AND it is used almost exclusively used when cops murder people of color. How so many people can accept that the cops have been given defacto judge/jury/Executioner powers, with literally no safeguards, is beyond me.

I’m putting this mess up on Twitter too. I’m really tired of this shit.
