You know how much of a ‘fuck you’ move it is to no-knock, pre-coffee raid your home the day AFTER you testified under oath?

According to the Post, documents seized during the raid were the same that Manafort had already turned over to Congress.

    Allegedly anyway.

The Post article says “a source close to the White House” claims that the documents seized included some that were already turned over willingly. So this is a source likely inclined to downplay the importance of the raid, and even then it doesn’t exclude the possibility that some of the documents seized had not been turned over.

    I told you so!

Neener-neener-neener! Someone tell that pansy ass nancy boy Tydings that I was right, goddammit!

Someone WAS colluding with the Ruskies!

There’s no need to quibble about me being 60 years too early and looking at the wrong end of the political spectrum. Minor details in the grand scheme of things.

Hey, his home wasn’t burned to the ground, nor were his pets or elderly grandparents killed in the process, so, win-win, I say!

    It’s not moxie.

Mueller is NOT going to risk his investigative reputation AND waste resources to seize useless information.

If Bobby Three Sticks got a a federal judge to sign off on a predawn warrant and knocks on Manafort’s door at 4am with a couple dozen FBI agents, then there is a TON of probable cause that a crime was committed and evidence must be secured ASAP.

The reason they would do this despite what Manafort has already turned over is because they must have reason to believe he’s still withholding information.

Given that Manafort was a known Russian stooge when he replaced Lewandowski, I want to know the exact process by which he became Trump’s campaign manager. Who suggested him, what steps were taken to vet him, how well did Trump know him before he was hired, etc. Manafort’s hiring is one of the key datapoints suggesting that Trump was or is compromised by Russian interests.

“Raid” is so 1930s Eliott Ness. If you’re sympathetic to the government’s side (I’d argue you should be in this case) you might want to refer to it as a “judicially approved visit.”
