Philly’s on the coast? News to me. The eastern side of Philly just faces South Jersey. Not all that picturesque either. I usually have to drive 1.5 hours through Jersey to get the coast.

Thanks for posting this. It’s one thing to say THOTUS and his crew want to take us back a few decades. But it’s good to know america’s history in detail like this and their exact plans of their intentions.

Odd that none of the millions of TV shows, movies, webpages, articles, and books about the Greatest Generation seem to mention these

Dammit, Kinja ate my initial post. It should have read: Odd that none of the millions of TV shows, movies, webpages, articles, and books about the Greatest Generation©®™ seem to mention these events, right? Or how German prisoners of war - ACTUAL FUCKING NAZIS - were treated better than African Americans, including those serving in the armed forces. Surely those omissions are accidental, right? RIGHT???!!!???!

Millions of pounds of munitions were lost that week, and the man hours lost amounted to the loss of five naval destroyers, according to some estimates.

It’s also important to note that many Americans today are delighted with waste like this if it pisses off “libtards” or people in another group. These are the people supporting Cheetolini’s trans-military ban even though the military says it’s a bad idea that endangers the troops. They support drug testing welfare recipients even though the state spends more on testing than it saves after less than 2% test positive and lose their benefits. They receive monthly government checks but think too many lazy people get the same benefits and should be cut off, and the lazy people tend to have a similar skin tone...

Interestingly, Ben Shapiro of all people made that point in a recent Joe Rogan podcast. A large amount of the actions and of those who are generally aligned with him are more about pissing people off. To many... that is the victory.

Millions of dollars spent on helping the needy is “just helping the lazy people stay lazy” but the same amount spent on subsidizing the price of sugar so that TWO men can stay billionaires is somehow “the way things should be.”

Cognitive dissonance, republican be thy name.

It is good to keep in mind what TrumPutin means by “great” when he goes full MAGA.

Exactly. ‘Make America great again’ sounds bad. Do you meant we were great when a Black person couldn’t use the library in the south? When so many families worked on plantations and never saw any money except what they borrowed from the plantation owner? In the Mississippi Delta, many people didn’t have full bathrooms and worked for $6.00 a week. It’s like the noble christian founding fathers who all owned slaves. Great.

“...but keeping black men from getting promoted was more important than fighting the Nazi threat.”

This is the heart of Trump’s popularity. His supporters would far rather see the entire country burned to the ground than give up a single drop of their privilege. And nobody is better qualified to light the match than Trump.

They knowingly undermined the war effort rather than see a new area of employment opened to black men?? Jesus.

Never mind fired, the fuckers should have been shot as fucking saboteurs. And yet the only person to be shot was a black child. Jesus.

By the way, AG Sessions, since school’s about to start, remember when an entire state school system closed because of integration https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massive_resistance and a whole class of Prince Edward County Public Schools lost high school http://www.vahistorical.org/collections-and-resources/virginia-history-explorer/civil-rights-movement-virginia/closing-prince ?
