I would’ve tuned in to that cage match. Frankly, I’d bet on the Mooch. He’s vain enough that he works out regularly and he doesn’t look like his liver’s been pickled.

the White House faces risks more akin to a rookie reality-television personality

Being an avid reality TV viewer, I find this mess not nearly as entertaining as say Ramona Singer yelling about Luann De Lesseps’/D’Agostino’s philandering husband or even Celebrity Apprentice’s iconic moment where Trump pits Nene Leakes (missing teeth and all) against Starr Jones. The thing that is happening is that the reality of postmodern reaction is finding its way into the political sphere and corridors of power.

Outside becomes inside and inside becomes outside. We see this with culture, gentrification/“urban development”, and language. The victory of Obama was the height of postmodernity but the whitelash against it stalled it for a moment. They, poor and middle-class whites, are anxious that the constructed reality that saw them live, materially at least, the richest lives in history being snatched away by outsiders, culminating in the election of Obama. They worry that their place in the centre is being encroached upon. Don’t get me wrong, they have always loathed the promises of postmodernity (gender equality, globalization, cultural mixing, multiculturalism, etc.) but now they seek to counter it by constructing a reality that is more “real” than reality itself (think of the propaganda they use to justify policy). A sort of hyperreality that is driven by a reality TV (oxymoron in and of itself since none of is real) host.

This is what happens when you have a skill set that appeals to someone with no actual skill set—once you don’t appeal to them, you’re gone, and you have nothing to fall back on. The best, most flexible lickspittles are the ones who do it with charm and refinement, not the boorish, loud abrasiveness of the angrily bigoted. Whatever...no tears shed, no time wasted on these dipshits.

People are all of a sudden (?) putting Miller in the running for media director, but the first time that weasely, pencil-necked nazitwerp made a public statement about how DT’s every whim should be embraced and tounged by the media, I though he had sealed that deal right then and there.

Why don’t they make legit remixes anymore? I don’t mean “dance” remixes or adding a random rap verse to a song. I hadn’t thought about it in awhile.
