    This is one of those increasingly weird modern day political situations where I’m not 100 percent sure if his chances to win will go up or down.

    Also... so am I reading his thinking correctly?: more than 200 years of actual slavery, Jim Crow, civil rights abuses, etc. = 8 years of Barack Obama.

      Congemi, that’s Italian, right? Last I checked, there were no Italians on the Mayflower.

      What’s hilarious about this “go back to Africa” shit is that many of our families have been in this country for longer than theirs. But American = white, no matter how long your people have been here, I guess.

    Congemi later told the Washington Post that he was not talking about wanting all black people to go back to Africa, just the specific group of people who have been pushing to make reparations a political issue, and who, he claimed, heckled at him at the forum.

    Most white people are racist, and it fascinates me to see how much or how little provocation it takes to get them to express their racism. This guy- such a peach.
