      Even worse than that - you don’t even have to have anything to do with it. If they accuse someone else of using your property to commit a crime (even without your knowledge or involvement), they can still seize it.

    Perhaps we need a letter-writing campaign to the MPD (or wherever he lives in the DC area). Sessions is suspected of committing perjury and involvement with the Russian collusion case. He is a flight risk. Therefore, I think his house and cars should be seized. It’s legal, right?

    The new policy from Attorney General Jeff Sessions authorizes federal “adoption” of assets seized by state and local police when the conduct that led to the seizures violates federal law.
