Now the DEA is trying to figure out exactly how cars ... were shipped by rail into a CSX yard in Lordstown without someone noticing the weed.

probably because no one wants to go anywhere near a Ford Fusion

I mean have you seen the midsize sedan market? It practically begs you to pick either the Mazda 6 or Ford Fusion just to prove you have a pulse.

I keep thinking about the dealership in Youngstown. How soon did it shift from “Dude free weed” to “Oh crap this is gonna get us in trouble”? I would start getting worried after my backpack was full.

Not surprised. CSX is known in urban circles in Chicago for “allowing” illegal gun shipments flow thru the urban landscape.

So it used to be just the CIA, now corporate leaders are in cahoots with cartels? If you build a factory in Mexico why is it so inconceivable that there are deals with local power brokers for favorable labor? Local leaders are often in the pocket of the cartels, ergo it would be willfully ignorant to think there aren’t connections between wealthy cartels and wealthy immoral businessmen. It’s no different than companies involving themselves with sweatshops. At least they’ve proven in the past to be well aware/intentionally blind to human trafficking, slave labor, and perhaps if we look hard enough- drug trafficking.
