    Let’s say that she didn’t hear anything the day her daughter was beaten to death (Sure, Jan) She knew her child was being tortured 5 out of 7 days a week. This is awful.

    That poor baby was treated like she was doing time in Guantanamo Bay. She had to be so frightened most of her short life.

      She knew full well what was going on. I can be listening to dancehall on my stereo, and I’m pretty sure I could still hear a baby getting beaten to the point where there’s blood in the lungs until dead! I mean, isn’t there some silence during the commercial breaks? Hell...even Terminator has a bit of downtime, no?

      Detailsin the local paper is even more brutal. Asked on a scale of 1-10 how bad he beat her, the bastard readily admitted it was a “10". Also, he was training as a boxer. There’s no way in hell the mom was unaware of what was going on.

      According to detectives, he’s not the biological father, but us listed on the Birth Certificate. Out of my own curiosity, could someone explain why a mother would list someone who isn’t the father on the BC? Not sure why a mother would do that.

      And the bitch had the nerve to supposedly “faint” in court during the arrangement. Asking for an ambulance care. Where was the damn ambulance for the baby?!?

      I try to not pass judgement on the moms in situations like this because they could be victims of the same abuse by these guys...but damn, it gets hard to hold up on that, sometimes.

      I sympathize with the family. But at the same time he did admit to beating her at least 5 times a week. And IMO, there’s no way her mother could not have known about this abuse. Was the Mom was an abuse victim as well? I dunno. But either way, multiple people failed her.

      Normally I’m not one to rush to judgements. But there is one glaring thing that just does not make a bit of sense to me. Under normal circumstances, a screaming child is incredibly loud. So how was the Mom able to watch tv without hearing what was going on? Something about the Mom’s version of events stinks like funky feet.
