    I would like to see a documentary on white people doing something and then a black person do it and see what happens. So, we’ll dress a white guy and a black guy in identical clothes, coach them heavily on their interactions (with police, employers, etc.) and try to control as many variables as possible. In fact, maybe we can get a white guy with a criminal record, and black guy without.

    Then we’ll have them open carry in an open carry state, carry a TV down the street, go running at night, hang out with 2 other black or white people, smoke pot in a public area, apply for a job, apply for an appartment, etc. I know they’ve done versions of these, but I’d like to control for the “his pants were saggy””he had attitude,” excuses. Of course, we all know what will happen, but perhaps it enlighten a few people.

    Where are all the usual comply or else asshats MIA, and yes police do kill more whites than blacks but usually white folks have to be doing the most to get shot, they typically aren’t out here getting killed for minor infractions , the Australian lady that got shot is really sad and a mystery to me , I hope there is some truth and justice on the other side of that story

      In the Australian woman’s case (in Minneapolis), the police body cameras just happened to be turned off. For both cops. The woman was the one who called 9-1-1 to report an assault near her home.

    All of it is disgusting. And somehow her wearing that choker makes it worse and I don’t even know why.

    Here’s hoping she gets jail time, lolz, and that her family is embarrassed. See? That’s all we can hope for here because that is the limit of what’ll happen. Her mom won’t end up joining with the black mom’s who march for their dead daughters and sons.

    Being white is being above the law, an infinite get-out-of-jail-free card. This is what upsets us the most. Not the fact that cops abuse their authority, but how disproportionally they do. The constant double-standard. The constant hypocrisy of treatment between white and black people. Though your writing always makes me chuckle, Michael, this realization is entirely humorless. It makes my blood boil.

    All we ever wanted was to be treated equally.
