She could have possibly been impaired while making decisions on thr bench. Fuck her for eopardizing the lives of people. I’m sure Texas has an EAP to get help for certain state employees, so I have very little sympathetic for her. I hope she gets help. That’s all I got for her.

  I would assume this as well that her substance use impaired her judgment. Very sad to think that lives have been altered by someone in a position of power that engages in the type of behavior she is responsible for presiding over.

Another shining example of the “Do as I say, not as I do” hypocrisy that plagues “law enforcement”. This bitch should be locked up for years like any other normal citizen.
Her non-violent drug offenses are what is ruining this great country. Her weed usage is destroying this great nation. She should be behind bars with all the other people who’s lives she’s ruined by charging them guilty for possessing a plant.

  I have to admit, Tomi, I’m having a hard time parsing the sarcastic from non-sarcastic points in your post. I’m making the assumption that you’d agree non-violent drug offenses are punished to a ridiculous degree in this country, particularly based on race, but at the same time it’s hard to align that with the opinion that she’s been a cog in that machine, which she hypocritically has, as being non-sarcastic.

  It’s both. A response as hypocritical as what it addresses. Why should she have her cake and eat it, too, when normal citizens can’t?
  To clear things up, I am 110% against the War on Drugs and ruining people’s lives for possessing non-violent plants. How people in “legal” states can profit billions off it, while three states away countless minorities’ lives are ruined for it. Everything about drug control/punishment is a sham, rooted in racism.
