Guess we’ll see how he is under pressure. Federal warrants being executed right now. First reported raid is a GOP campaign consulting firm:

It’s incredibly gratifying to watch Lester Holt just kick back and watch Trump self-immolate based purely on some thoughtfully asked (and timed) questions.

Trump lies. Believe nothing. It means nothing. Don’t care what he says.
    Watch what he does.

If Russia did anything, I want to know about it, but I know they didn’t do anything.

If the man could keep a single thought in his head for fifteen seconds (other than ‘Ivanka is totally do-able’), he might actually sound like a human being.

      That basically translates to:

“I’d love to turn Russia into the villain here, but I can’t risk losing the few remaining fall guys I’ve got left in the process”.

Do you honestly believe Trump has ever asked any question to anyone by beginning with “If it’s possible,” or “If you can,”? Recordings or it ain’t true.

“You take a look at the FBI a year ago, it was in virtual turmoil, less than a year ago. It hasn’t recovered from that.”
“Director Comey enjoyed broad support within the FBI and still does today,” McCabe told senators.

This is the problem with electing a congenital idiot, who has spent his entire adult life surrounded by yes men. He simply cannot grasp that federal agencies do not exist to wipe his arse when he shits the bed…

“Director Comey enjoyed broad support within the FBI and still does today,” McCabe told senators. “We have a diversity of opinions about many things but I can confidently tell you the vast majority of FBI employees enjoyed a deep and positive connection to Director Comey.” He later added: “I don’t believe there was a crisis of confidence in the FBI.”

“I actually asked him if I was under investigation being wiretapped by Obama,” Trump said, NBC News reports. Trump added that he’d spoken with Comey over dinner and twice over the phone. “I said, ‘If it’s possible, would you let me know, am I under investigation being wiretapped by Obama?’ He said, ‘You are not under investigation being wiretapped by Obama.’”

The reported exchange makes more sense now, doesn’t it.

Isn’t Sessions under investigation still? (probably) Didn’t he recuse himself from anything that may interfere in the investigation with campaign communications with Russia and with Russia’s screwing around with the 2016 election. (hell yes) Should he have been making recommendations to anyone about firing the guy who was leading the investigation? (hell no) Shouldn’t there be repercussions for him for making this recommendation? (YES)

Trump claims that when he asked Comey if he was under FBI investigation that Comey said he wasn’t. I’m pretty sure that Comey had the common sense not to disclose who is under investigation. Also I’m pretty sure that pressing the question (Trump asked him more than once) is the first step toward interfering with that investigation...
