It’s Southwest. You save on the ticket price by beating each other up, not having to pay staff to do it for you!

And of course, it’s beautiful, downtown Burbank…

The term “overhead” is now in the same category as jab, upper-cut, and right-hook.

You know that experiment that was done back in the day where the rats ended up turning on one another after being forced into close quarters?

These airlines are doing a similar experiment on humans.

Everything about the flying experience is designed to be as inefficient and anxiety-inducing as humanly possible, on top of the fact that heights/flying is a natural fear a lot of people have to begin with. I’m amazed more people don’t lose their shit on airplanes, to be honest.

That’s it. From now on I’m driving everywhere. That way I only fight with friends and family members and I know their weak spots.

TBH, any criminal act on a plane, violent or not, should be a federal offence.

    ETA: passenger or STAFF

It is. Any crime committed in the “Special Maritime and Territorial Jurisdiction” is a federal offense. Includes airplanes. 18 USC Sec. 7 (5)

Too bad it’s not equally enforced.

      But what laws are?

I’d guess it’s only a matter of time before they stop serving alcohol on planes. Flights into Las Vegas are always the worst. On the return trips everyone is either hungover or broke and depressed. Flights into Anchorage also seem to have more than their share of drunk people. Although if I had to live in Anchorage I’d get drunk too. Also, never fly into Salt Lake City unless you have to go there. Odds are you’re on the Mormon crying baby express.

I know we’ve already had a reality show about an airline, but I think it’s time for a reboot*. That’s got to be what some of these people are aiming for with the smacking and the punching and the vertical filming.

*Actual boots may be involved this time around.

How is that one guy that’s standing right next to the fight not doing anything? “Well, maybe if I tap him on the shoulder...”
