He does have one thing to be proud of, though. He’s still more black than Rachel Dolezal.

He’s not black enough until one of his old buddies shoots him during a routine traffic stop.

This story only solidifies my belief in why a lot of white people won’t go near these tests. I haven’t either, bc considering what kind of government we have, plus technological advancements that continue to outrun our current laws, that information could end up anywhere- & it will not be used to help you. However, it’s white people who hide behind fragile notions of “purity” of blood, & taking a test like this tells a truth that the mirror may not. Frankly, it would be great if all avowed racists were forced to take these tests, & then publicize the results. Yes, some would come back as white, or whiter than they expected. But, many in their ranks of racist fuckery would have to stfu & sit down, lest they look dumber than they already do. Testing could begin at the White House, work its way down through EVERY government office, then every news entity. Afterwards, all results regarding race should be published on a publicly accessible website. If you’ve held office as a representative & you’ve crusaded against healthcare for all people, then your health results get released, too, & now the public can discuss why you get full healthcare paid for by your constituents, but you don’t think they deserve the same. I’ll personally foot the bill for the first two guillotines. I’m pretty sure we can crowdfund the rest.

My sister and dad have taken them. I was sure I had more Native American in my, but alas, they were about 99% honky. It is good for the ol “Do you have any Irish in you? No? Would you like some?” though.

Well, they’re like $200 so in white people’s defense that’s an awful lot just to find out Grandma wasn’t 1/32nd Cherokee like she said she was

What the hell did I just read?

I hope neither party wins and they each have to pay their own attorney’s fees.

Side note: is it now agrees by many that ancestry.com tests aren’t as good as others, like 23andme? Kinda wondering because I’ve been looking to get this done.

I prefer 23 and me because it is more comprehensive. You get health, possible relatives and ancestry composition.

I have both and they’re about the same for me in terms of percentages. If you care about the health stuff (I don’t) and only want the heritage part ancestry is fine. That and there are more people on ancestry.

‘Boylan said that the defendants also “unfriended” Brown on Facebook and would not allow him to play at the annual charity basketball games. ‘

Awe, dude is a real life Rudolph

So is the lesson here that he shouldn’t have shared his genetic results because he should have known how racist his buddies weresince he was probably one of them formerly?

According to the complaint, the ostracism only started AFTER he filed the complaint. He thinks they should stay friends AFTER he accuses them and the whole department of being shitty racists? It NEVER works that way, dude.

Yeah, they thought that the fact that he was 18% black gave him an unfair advantage.

I’m white and I’ve waited for an invite for so long. I mean sure, I’ve been invited to a few bbq’s in the backyard, but the picnic....man, the picnic is where I want to be.

Sorry...but the “picnic” is for black f0lks only. You’ll have to make due with continuing to enjoy the bbq’s. We can’t invite you to the “picnic” cause that’s where we like to kick back in our element, take off our shoes(and socks) and just “be” without fear or shame. If we invite you, we gotta worry about you telling others(like you) and then have them vying for invites and it all goes downhill from there. We’d rather that not happen.

Funny how easy it is for white people to get educated about racism the minute they’re accidentally/incidentally targeted by it.

I’m reminded of a story I read a few years back about the surname “Washington” and why it was overwhelmingly an African-American name. They interviewed some white people with the name who had found that they always had trouble getting calls back from jobs or apartment owners, unless they showed up in person ... then all problems magically disappeared.
