      In the moment, I would have wished that she’d had a gun. (with all the baggage that entails, Racists need to be afraid to approach a stranger’s car.)

      Reality, now that he’s in Jail, I’m very happy that he gets to spend a few decades memorizing the pores of a cement brick wall. I’m still enough of a dick to wish that he’d been made an example of, except for the damage it would have done to that poor lady’s life in the aftermath.

    The lady tried to get away by driving in the opposition direction. She did all she could to avoid this mess and he pursued her nonetheless. Pretty much a microcosm of white men vs. black women in ‘merica.

    First, if he was anything but white, we would most likely be reading about how terrible of a student he was, that he had trace amounts of marijuana in his system, and that he was stopped for a broken tail light 6 years ago... and how we shouldn’t be upset that he’s dead.

    Second, that’s assaulting a police officer (at least in the state of California), and a felony. I mean, it’s certainly not the least of his crimes, but it’s going to add a measurable amount of time to his sentence.
