I would write something about how this particular individual always looks so sickly and insipid, but then someone will complain that I’m unfairly face-shaming him or whatever. So I won’t be saying that...

Didn’t people try to say during the election that no bank in the US would lend to him because he sucks at making money so he probably went to Russia. But of course that got ignored because he such a great business man. I mean, look at all those buildings with his name on it... yeah.

They didn’t just say it during the election. He declared bankruptcy stateside so many times that no U.S.-based bank would lend to him anymore, which is why he ended up with DeustcheBank in the first place.

I’m sort of confused about this - other than 45's lying about “ties” to Russia (whatever that truly means), is this actually not legal? Or indicative of something illegal? Just trying to keep this straight in my head.

Well depending on when they’ve flown to Moscow, begging bowl in hand, and who exactly dropped the money in there, they may be guilty of breaching sanctions. And there’s questions as to what may have been demanded in return for any “investment”. In and of itself, it’s not necessarily illegal.

And this is why everyone since Nixon - except Ford, who issued a summary of his previous decade’s returns - has revealed their tax records; to remove any suspicion of impropriety. But Cheeto says he is not in hock to the Russian Government for $1Bn, and Cheeto is an honourable orange-coloured puffed cornmeal treat…

It isn’t illegal, no. But Russian intelligence agencies are known to spend years “grooming” assets, so it’s possible the Russia saw Trump’s birther nonsense and decided to get his hand into their cookie jar well in advance.

I’ve always expected that if this entire corrupt family of shitgoblins gets locked away, it won’t be because of some modern-day Woodward or Bernstein. It’ll be because one of them finally rises to the bait and goes full-on Sideshow Bob…

I’m positive that if the family/45 is taken down, it’ll be something that seems really insignificant, or just their blatant disregard for rules (like the recent instances of promoting Ivanka’s book using the government platform).

That would actually strike me as funny - because you can always sue, but you won’t always win, and truth is still an absolute defense to a libel charge here in the States.

He should just stick with it, maybe his hands are clean enough that he’ll be ok, then he can just send his less than loving father away.

Bonus for him; He’s not named Donald!

Eric Trump reminds me of every character in a movie who has been locked up in the attic since childhood by his wealthy family ashamed to have him seen.
