Oh God, of course he did. TrumPutin will never understand or believe that a human being could have a motivation such as “make sure things go right” or “for the good of others and no benefit to myself” because he has never had a thought like that in his life. His thougts are more like:

  Well, not only that - but now Flynn’s hiring by the Maladministration makes even more sense to me, boneheaded and short-sighted as it was.
  45 is a born contrarian of the worst kind - like, at the level you hear from here in the greys or on Jez - and also, he hates POTUS44, who is everything he could never be and then some, and a bronze person to boot.
  (Did you see him at the Profile in Courage Award ceremony last night? He looked so amazing!! Vacation bronze goes fabulously with his Presidential grey hair, lol.)
  So of course he hired him, because President Obama is gracious and gives everyone, even racist morons, the benefit of the doubt that they will take good common sense advice for the good of the country — but the Nectarine Narcissist literally couldn’t force himself to do that.
  And then also of course, Flynn was hired to help orchestrate that deal lifting the sanctions so that everybody on both sides could collect that sweet Russian oil pipeline $$$. Never mind that streak of literal insanity in his family as already evidenced by his nutheaded son who kept Tweeting about Pizzagate till someone literally forced him to stop after weapons in public became involved.
