    Anyway, looks cool. Has Horizon 3 ever gone on sale? Feels like I’ve been waiting ages for the PC version to drop in price...

      Being exclusive to the windows store (apart from amazon) they’ve kept the price locked at $60 for the base game since launch. I wen’t on ebay this weekend and found it for $40 - not spectacular but better than full price.

    Yes. I love this mashup. This is how you do cross promotion. Someone should send this to Square Enix. Their cross promotion is awful. Hilarious, but in the awful way it’s incorporated into their games. (Cup of Noodle, Arianna Grande, Afrojack to name a few examples).

    I’ve been fighting to try and avoid buying Forza Horizon 3 (Play a lot of X1 games, and very very happy with Forza Motorsport 6) for awhile now. That winter expansion a couple of months ago almost pushed me over (more interested in that then what’s in the base game). This just did it. Buying the game, and both expansions. This looks amazing (and yes, my childhood nostalgia with Hot Wheels/Toy Story is totally kicking in).

    PS: I’ve never seen it discussed anywhere (mostly because big outlets don’t talk about racing games or what’s happening in that part of the industry at all), but Turn 10/Playground have been doing an amazing job with expansions. The Nascar and Porsche expansions for FM6 are incredible. Not just glorified car packs. Provide great history and perspective on those brands with a lot of minor but deeply immersive touches. That’s carried over to Horizon 3, which I’m very happy about. Don’t remember expansions for racing games ever being a thing. These studios have it down beautifully.

      I actually picked up every possible piece of FH3 content when it came out that was available (Ultimate, little add-ons, etc) and outside of a few days after that it collected dust as I kept getting pulled into titles on my PS4. This is enough to get me to brush it all off and get goin’ again!

    From quickly reading the comments, I guess I just don’t get it...

    I don’t play Forza or the spinoffs for arcade action, at least not to this degree (Horizon games are quite a good combination between arcade and simulation though). This takes the series too far away from its roots, IMHO.
