    Eye witness testimony is the least reliable of all evidence but the legal system is still mired in 19th century thinking i.e.. circumstantial evidence. Instead of calling evidence collected at the scene ‘primary’ we rely more on what someone thinks they saw, wanted to see or wanted to use to screw someone over. Thank the goddess this poor sod finally was freed. This is a good example of why capital punishment is so wrong.

    This incredible wrong will not be righted until he gets his 20 years back. Or at the very least, until the District Attorney who prosecuted him faces some consequence.

    I know someone who served a number of years for a murder and was finally released when one of the 3 people that did the murder confessed. The shit was one fucked up mess.
