    If the conservatives had their way, Indianapolis would be the capital of the U.S., and also the largest city left standing. Indy disproves the idea that cities always lean left. Sure, there are progressive pockets in Indianapolis, but it’s one of the most conservative large cities in the nation.

    Also, there’s nothing to do there.

    I hope these kids go on to great things and move their families away from that hole.

      Having been born in indiana, I must protest this characterization. There’s TONS of things to do in indiana. You can race go karts. You can play or watch basketball. Also, indy 500. So there.

    This is reminiscent of the argument over affirmative action. They want “diversity”, to feel as if we’re really making these great strides in racial equality; but, at the end of the day they fear that minorities will come in and be better than them. It’s unfortunate that these young minds can’t even comprehend how they’re being groomed into bigotry and hatred for no reason other than their parents’ insecurity in their own selves, and feelings of entitlement.

      When I was at the uni, I got told on the daily I was only there because of affirmative action. It was sweet vengeance watching some of them flunk out of weed out courses.

      You tell a marginalized group of people “You need to be at least four times better than us before we even let you in the front door” — you deserve what you get, because you didn’t have to be like that.
