Funny how people like this would bleat about all lives matter but their actions say the opposite.

This Voldermort looking motherfucker would not be sticking his nose into this case if there were no dead cop involved. That alone tells you exactly what the rest of our lives are worth to these people.

And to the person in gray, having the governor interfere in a case this way because a cop was killed when he wouldn’t otherwise do so is not acceptable. So yeah we know that pRick Scott is interfering because this dude killed a cop the question you did a shit job of answering was rhetorical. Your “insight” was not necessary.

I came here for a Voldemort reference and am pleased. As for Rick Scott, he can lean too far over the edge of the Grand Canyon. Any fate that is both Super American and Super Brutal.

Also, I suspect because Rick Scott has always been Voldemort, but also because of this

which I thought was interesting, in a horribly depressing sort of way.

“It is also strange to me that the governor of Florida is championing killing a man. I get that the death penalty is an option in this case, but is Gov. Scott taking this case personally? Would he still be actively championing the death penalty if the only victim in this case was Sade Dixon, Loyd’s ex-girlfriend? Would he have been so ready to appoint a special prosecutor?

Why now, and why this case?”

It’s because he assassinated a cop, whose name is Debra Clayton BTW.

Funny how you are making the person who murdered his pregnant ex-girlfriend and Debra Clayton out to be the victim in this case..

I haven’t made anyone out to be the victim here; I simply questioned the governor’s motives. Please don’t put words in my mouth or my writing.

Capital punishment is merely revenge, and the reason we have laws and a justice system is because that whole barbaric eye-for-an-eye revenge thing didn’t work out too well.

I was coming here to say how this is only “justice” if you ignore the entire New testament.

Odd that among the reasons she listed for opposing the death penalty is that sometimes we convict people wrongly, and usually those people are poor and minorities. The Innocence Project finds people all the time that had shitty lawyers or corrupt DA’s or dirty cops or bad witnesses. It’s pretty hard to bring people back to life if you fucking kill them.

Wait. She was elected and the Gov’r can just remove her like this? Because he doesn’t like the job she’s doing?
