    Yeah, not a great job there dispatcher. But, let’s not forget that the officer who shot a fucking 12-year-old playing with a fucking toy had been fired from another department because he showed poor judgement with his weapon and was considered a danger to the public.

      If Tamir had been holding a real gun...and the dispatcher relayed that information clearly...that the shooting is still unjustified.

    Peak American “justice”. Murdering cop goes free. Grand jury pats themselves on the back for upholding white supremacy, mayor and other pols get to talk and say nothing of value or to help while also blaming a boy a community a parent, the NRA gets to party again, and the mostly white national media gets to focus on Snoop and Maddow.

    What the fuck is a 2 day, or even 8 day, suspension? That’s little more than a vacation. That’s absolutely useless, I don’t get this; like they think it’s going to help anybody here? And 2 years later? dafuq?/<>@#$

    The city of Cleveland has been so piss poor in its handling of Tamir Rice’s murder. Over and above the injustice of murdering a child, Cleveland has heaped insult on top of insult to Samaria’s injury. It’s so clear they blame Tamir for his own murder. They sent her a bill for his ambulance ride. One of its leaders suggested she use the settlement money to “educate other children about gun safety.” The grand jury brought no charges. Then they rolled out a plan to raze the playground where Tamir was murdered.

    And now, all these years later, all anyone gets in this case is a wack ass suspension? Really? Her son is dead. Why continue to pour salt in this woman’s wound?
