Surely this disgusting level of legal incompetence has some recourse right? And I don’t just mean a civil suit.

      Less incompetence, more indifference.

They never cared about the truth, they only care about covering their own racist asses.

For a bit of context for non-lawyers, these are a discovery device known as Requests for Admission. They’re used to narrow down the issues before you get to settlement negotiations and/or trial so that the parties are focusing on the areas where they disagree. To get admissions like this so early in the process is more than a little breathtaking.

“¯\_(ツ)_/¯ What are they gonna do about it now?”

Really. Not like DOJ is gonna come busting through there.

Except that’s the thing I don’t understand. Unless I missed something, double jeopardy has not attached because the grand jury decided not to indict him. This isn’t like the OJ civil case where he had already been acquitted and they could force straight answers out of him in deposition.

Wilson could still be prosecuted, but doesn’t appear to care. These are the answers of a man who does not fear justice.

I feel ......defeated. I know I have to fight and resist. With two black boys one 20 the other 13 , I have no choice. But right now, today my anger, hurt, and tears have left me breathless. I am so hurt after reading this, that today I must rest. Tomorrow I will pick up my /our fight.

The “whatever-it-was” at the convenience store has always been a red herring. Officer Wilson admitted at the time that he had no awareness of the incident at the store or that Brown was involved.

So, he pulled over a black man. Started an altercation. Shot an unarmed black man, first in the back, then multiple times to his face. Shooting a person who is presenting no imminent threat is murder. Wilson is a murderer.

He got away with murder an knows it. Fuck this guy, and all like him.

Surely there was some crime a “large black man” was wanted for at the time...can’t discount that...uh...fact?

It was almost two years ago that articles like “‘Hands up, don’t shoot’ was built on a lie” came out, wherein everybody was now supposed to talk about the “true” events that happened the day Michael Brown was shot to death. I guess I look forward to seeing people admit, now, that Darren Wilson has changed his story over time and that makes him an extremely unreliable source of information for that day.

      Won’t happen. Remember this?

We knew we couldn’t make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders, raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did.”

That time the “war on drugs” was admitted to be horse shit like we always told them and white folks ignored it like they always do when it comes out that we weren’t lying, making it up, misunderstanding, or hysterical.

Even when history tells me otherwise, my humanity won’t let me write off all white people the way they constantly write off people of color. Maybe it’s dumb, maybe it’s right... probably both. It’s hard to know what to do when it’s like an entire people don’t give a flying fuck and the few that really get it are soooo hard to find (I know a few and I luh y’all, forreals).

Too bad the vast majority never see the wolf until its already fed.

The sooner you realize Black lives don’t matter, the sooner you can find a piece of mind. Any other thought or reason only serves to stress and deteriorate the soul.

All that “all men created equal,” “things aren’t so bad anymore” is just white revisionist history to placate us and make us lose our anger; our fight. Never trust them. Never think we are on the same team. It’s us vs. them, and the onus is on them for making it so.

We. Us. Never believed that shit.

Why did the Justice Department inquiry fail to mention this in its report that shows the systematic racism of a city targeting and collecting fines off black people but the media grasped on the words “hands up don’t shoot” couldn’t be proven? But wouldn’t the Justice Department have had access to these court records or did the Ferguson prosecutor with the bad eye block even them from gaining access? I have questions for my mans Barack & Eric Holder and I wonder if they are shocked and defeated their Justice Department Civil Rights division fucked the fuck up? Or for political purposes did they decide a poor black weed-smoking bad ass kid was not worth the fight?

Thank you. I was about to say I recall Eric Holder going to Ferguson and shaking hands in a soul food (slave food, pardon me) restaurant, but nothing came of the efforts of the top law man (I mean handkerchief head negroe, pardon me again) in the country. They both new all the details (Barry, too) and didn’t even use the laws (pardon me, so called laws) of this country to do nothing. Period. Lesson learned. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on who? If you black you had better know the answer to that, and begin to act accordingly.

Never for one second did I think a chubby teenaged marching-band nerd attacked an armed and uniformed cop. This bastard now freely admits it that didn’t happen.

Is anyone here a lawyer? Would this be considered enough “new evidence” to justify a criminal trial?

If they wanted to. But they don’t want to. There’s no one in the chain of authority from Wilson’s supervisor up to and including the President who’ll pursue this case so he’ll stay free, enjoy his crowdfunded money and whatever he got paid for that TV interview, probably get some more cash in a few years for a book or something. I can’t even get angry anymore. This is just another day in America.

Thinking long-game here (no statute of limitations on murder, right?). What if decent people took over whatever local elected positions can hire and fire the prosecutor?

It serves as documentation to (otherwise intelligent) deniers when you say “This must change, and this is why” who would otherwise try to “Butbutbut” you into exhaustion.

There are few people in this world that I really, truly hate. Some people, you know, you just don’t care about them because they don’t care about anyone else. This goes beyond that. This goes only to people that have zero regard for (black) life. George Zimmerman earned that hate. Dylann Roof earned that hate. And now Darren Wilson and Robert McCullough earned that hate for what they did to Michael Brown. Hell would be too good for them.

Fuck them all and this pathetic system.
