    Ok, here we go, folks! Everyone got the routine down now? God knows we’ve practiced it enough! But let’s run through it one more time for those that haven’t been paying attention:

    1. Scandal, embarrassing item, or outright lawbreaking exposed about Trump administration

    2. Outrage and shock. Angry missives from liberal press, comedians say funny things about it, memes circulate

    3. Far-right conservatives cheer, center-right conservatives issue empty admonishments, party leaders hide in blanket fort

    4. Trump tweets something stupid about it

    5. Spicer/Conway says tweets speak for themselves

    6. Two days later, Spicer says tweets were maliciously misinterpreted, or Conway says tweets never existed in the first place and we should all be ashamed for imagining Donald tweeting such a thing

    7. Everybody moves on to next scandal, embarrassing item, or outright lawbreaking exposed about Trump administration and absolutely nothing happens because nothing matters and everything is meaningless.
