And how many high ranking military officers, before or since, have done pretty much the same thing but had it ignored or covered up by their respective branches?

The funny thing is, it wasn’t what he did, it was that he put it on his government charge card. A lot of people have had a lot of things swept under the rug throughout the years in the military, but if you put it on your government card, you are screwed.

Government is pretty strict in general about their cards. A coworker with like 15 years of service used it to pay a large bill and immediately paid it off, and was canned. Everyone knows you don’t use these cards for anything non-work related. Sounds like this guy was also a harraser of women. So they were probably looking for a concrete reason to get rid of him.

An African-American three star general was demoted in retirement for using a government credit card to patronize strip clubs…

Meanwhile a white three star general who leaked classified military information, possibly endangering the lives of the men serving under him, gets promoted to National Security Advisor!

    No hypocrisy here then…

Visiting a place called the “Cica Cica Boom strip club” should itself get him thrown in the brig!

For under $3k, that fool lost a LOT! What a moron. I bet he’ll be at the general’s club and all the white generals will laugh at him and not let him play reindeer games cuz he’s a lowly 1 star guy now.

About $6,000 dollars a month while on active service. In retirement it is tricky, depends on 1 of 4 plans depending on date of entry. Most will fall under plan #2 based on the average highest pay for the last 36 months and multiplied by 2.5%
