Set up dropboxes, and auto uploads of videos you take from your phone.
Get a dashcam for your cars, and even go the extra mile and get a body camera for yourselves.
Its going to be your word against the officers and as we all know White America is always ready to take the word of a officer over that of a person of color.

  What apps would you suggest that we use. Serious about this. I have an iPhone and use both dropbox and google drive but the built in apps don’t do auto uploading.

  The leader of the Republican Party in my city is trying to get momentum to include “political affiliation” in the hate crimes statutes because during the weekend of the ban someone spray-painted the Republican headquarters with “Nazi Scum” and “Refugees Welcome.” She said Republicans are scared for their lives because of wearing a hat or speaking out on their political beliefs, and that us (supposed snowflake, fragile) liberals are intimidating people and committing acts of violence. Our Republican representative convened meetings on Capitol Hill with other Republicans to talk about how to “deal” with us. I am pissed as hell that they keep using our language and our protections against us.

So our police forces are all going to be demilitarized and retrained so they aren’t killing/attacking citizens for minor infractions and won’t be treating American citizens like insurgents, which will result in less animosity towards the police, thereby reducing violence against officers. Finally!

Another of the orders would “create a task force to reduce violent crime.” The last “would instruct the Department of Justice — now under Sessions’ command — to come up with a plan to stop violence against law enforcement officers,” McClatchy reports.
Real worried this is going to be a hate crime law like we have here in Louisiana. As in, if the police officer decides you are resisting arrest when they arbitrarily decide to arrest you, you’ve committed a hate crime.

The full text of the orders are up there and two of them do pretty much nothing. The One about cartels could be seen as a way to more quickly deport people accused of having links to cartels/ gangs which pretty much was happening already. The taskforce and cartel ones are basically orders for existing exec branch outlets to “do more of your job that you already do.”
The law enforcement officer one is a problem - the exec branch is investigating making a “crime of violence,” against a police officer a federal crime - well that is a bit vague and worrisome.
A “crime of violence,” is defined in the US Code as:
(a)
an offense that has as an element the use, attempted use, or threatened use of physical force against the person or property of another, or
(b)
any other offense that is a felony and that, by its nature, involves a substantial risk that physical force against the person or property of another may be used in the course of committing the offense.
This is pretty effing vague and could easily be spun against demonstrations against police. What does “substantial risk,” mean - it is vague for a reason because courts are the ones that hash that shit out.
This is gonna be interesting.

I was going to look into actual attacks on LEOs. There is an Officer Down page which a lot of pro police brutality people use to throw numbers around. I just saw that they include K9s and military members. Now I gotta go and check every single entry for every year to weed out the ones that werent LEOs here in the states and also exclude the K9s.(I love dogs but lets be real).
