I wonder if the black folks going will face any grief from the ones who protested, and vice versa. It’d be great if NONE of the black players went, and instead managed to hang out with Michelle and Barack instead.

Nah. I don’t think teammates would shade each other. Maybe Martellus would, but not likely.

You’re assuming he won’t try to cancel basketball.

By way of one of his lovely Executive Decisions.

I would love to have a chance to refuse to go to the White House.

Even better would be personally refusing to shake Trump’s hand. How awesome would that be? To just see his extended hand, frown at it like it was a bug in your food, and then say “No thanks” as you turn away.

Gronk’s going to try to touch his hair instead. Kraft will pull him in close and say, with a smile, “you’re as good at being president as you are at chipping.”

Technically Dante didn’t go the the White House as a Patriot when Obama was president. “Been there. Done that” refers to his two times at the White House as a Crimson Tide. Of course Crusty McCheeto and his orange minion will take it as a slight. But who the fuck cares.

What really pissed me off this week was Trump declaring that the murder rate has been the highest in 47 years and not one of those asshole piece of shit sheriffs in the room failed to let the President know he was putting out bad information. Most, if not all, of them KNOW the murder rate is down and has been for decades and not one had an ounce of integrity to point this out.

I have respect for people who choose to decline and invitation to another orange tinted shit show photo op. I have no respect for those who go and lap up the lies and disrespect spewed out without saying a word.

Someone pointed out the oddity that you’re more likely to have been murdered in the last 15 years by a New England Patriot than a refugee.

I have a theory that Alabama, who was dominating the title game through the first three quarters suddenly realized that winning would mean a White House visit with trump and they threw it to Clemson to get out of it.

More should take a stand and show that America isn’t tolerant of this kind of Presidency and specifically, this kind of behavior.
