I think that this is outrageous and disrespectful.
It’s one thing for a white player from the New England Patriots to turn down a Presidential invitation to the White House from a black President. That’s understandable. Tom Brady had very important shopping to do at an Apple Store. And those stores are only open seven days a week.
But for a black Patriots player to refuse a white President for political reasons?!?
Well that’s just downright uppity.

I’m more interested to see how many NBA players for whichever team wins the championship this year will bail on the White House visit. The NBA seems to be a lot cooler with allowing players to express themselves politically, nowadays. Twenty years ago it was a different story.
