I love Dave, but if he had made enough money and grown bigger as a solo artist, he would’ve never started singing gospel. And, if he had made enough money and become a huge gospel star, he would’ve never gone back to sing R&B.

I only knock hustles when people are pretending like they aren’t trying to hustle somebody. Having said that, his Chicago 85 ... The Movie album was a really good album and should’ve rocketed him into the stardom that he was chasing.
