      Totally agree, but apparently that’s common in other countries. In looking up more on the story, I saw the baby’s photos and she looks happy. Her mother is a sociopath, however, so the sooner she gets away from her the better.

      You can get out in 5 years for murder in the US. The key is that you are not convicted of first. As you slide down the degrees it becomes shorter and shorter sentences with more possibility of parole.
