Okay, the whole “do not use if you have epilepsy or a pacemaker” is a bit disconcerting, but if this will help my extreme ADD when trying to work on the computer (and all my work is on the computer), it would be worth the cost. So far none of the other similar services have been any help. Though I do find those Youtube videos that are just 12 hours of the background noise of a Star Trek starship oddly soothing.

Isn’t ADD rolled into the three ADHD classifications now?

Anyway, I have ADHD, that Focus@Will site worked pretty well to help me out for a while, but the music quality was a crapshoot. Sometimes it sounded great, other times they’d play classical that sounded like it was recorded by a laptop mic through a Pringles Can held against the outside wall of the venue next door.

I just wish these services weren’t so expensive. I understand, only seven dollars a month, that’s not a ridiculous expense, but then you look at things like Netflix which I pay 10 bucks a month for, and the price doesn’t hold up so well.

This looks pretty interesting. I’ve tried binaural beats before and they tend to help me focus and/or relax. Not sure if that’s mostly due to the constant tone blocking out all other sounds or if it’s actually affecting my brain waves as they claim. Might try this out for sleep.

I’ve tried the binaural beats stuff, too. But most of it is specifically formulated for headphones/earbuds only. I am not sleeping with earbuds in.

Yeah this. I got tired of waking up with the cord around my neck (or was that Mr Safety’s doings... o.O) or a nice mark/indent across my face from sleeping on it lol

For anyone who wants to drop the cash, I found 50% off for the lifetime plan via the discount link here:

It didn’t look like it worked, until I made an account, then the pricing page changed.

SomaFM’s Drone Zone station is not designed for ADD but it helps me focus. It has the advantage of being free with very few interruptions. Though I occasionally make a donation to keep up my good kharma.

It doesn’t really work for me. I’ve selected “relaxed focus” and there’s some creepy tense music that sounds like a soundtrack for a thriller set in Chicago. It just makes me anxious.
