    I dunno about this.

    Some third hand office gossip doubtless passed around by men who were passed over during Brooks' meteoric rise, is hardly reliable or even new.

    I always think about the shit said about powerful women like Catherine the Great (that horse thing never happened), Ann Boleyn (she didn't have sex with her brother nor half the court) and Marie Antoinette (she didn't sleep again with her husband's brother and the "let them eat cake" thing is pure bunkum). This stuff is what is always thrown around because it's impossible to disprove and very quickly achieves the desired effect in destroying a woman's credibility (still... *heaving, frustrated sigh*).

    Do I think she flirted or fawned over these men? Sure- as they doubtless did with her. She also happened to be very capable at the (largely immoral and sometimes illegal) job that she was hired to do. That was her first mistake.

      I whole heartedly agree. (They also did this with Elizabeth I of England which was especially ridiculous.) But, on the other hand, very smart ambitious people of either gender tend to do whatever it takes to succeed. Ann Boleyn didn't sleep with her brother and Catherine never fucked a horse. But both did use sex to help their climb to power. (Catherine's lover and ex-lovers in the military helped her quite a bit and later a former lover ruling Poland didn't hurt. Ann got where she was in the first place that way.)

      So I don't know what to think.

      I'm actually finding it hard to believe Rupert Murdoch had sex with anyone. He's a relic: 82 years old and utterly obsessed with his business. I actually doubt that he would mix business with pleasure to satisfy his latent libido at this point - I don't think he knows how to mix pleasure with pleasure. Rebekah Brooks is too ruthless and cunning to sleep with Murdochs, and she doesn't need to anyway.

      Besides Lachlan is married to Sarah O'Hare, who is infinitely more beautiful than Rebekah Brooks.

    Brooks allegedly has sex with Rupert Murdoch. And then there's this:

    What the FUCK is it with older guys ? Why does their sexuality have to be so icky? What is it with the attraction to much younger women and the ensuing daddy-daughter shit?? What is their problem?? There's plenty of nice looking older women around.

    They reportedly swim together in the mornings when he is in London. She fusses over him at dinner parties—making sure he’s eating, that his wineglass is full.

    Doesn't seem like this asshole wants an equal partner. He seems to want a much younger geisha who sorta-kinda allegedly moonlights as his fantasy daughter. Uuuugghh. Repulsive.

    Like most, i'm not a fan of this woman but this whole she fucked everybody rumors make me feel uneasy—-it reeks of misogyny. Obviously she's done much to incur other people's disfavor but slut-shaming her based on gossip deducts and distracts from the very real crimes she has committed.

    And—even by if she did fuck the father, the son and the holy ghost of the Murdoch empire, don't be fool enough to reduce the whole woman to only what's between her legs. The way she has handled the investigations and trial thus far are proof of just how incredibly cunning, opportunistic and strong she is.

    I have always found her to be completely unsympathetic. Almost to the level of being unreal like a Disney villain. Knowing this I feel as though she has suffered enough. Poor thing.
