    (On a side note, I've stopped referring to Trump's hairpiece as a "toupee." Considering the wearer, it seems more appropriate to call it a merkin.)

        Fox News gives me the pip.

        What is it about the dress of some Muslim women (pssst ... I've got news for you, Fox: burqas are not the default dress for all Muslimas who cover) that Fox thinks it's okay to ridicule? It's bloody racist and isn't funny.

        If there was a similarly conservative beauty competition in Israel, I bet they wouldn't make jokes about there being a Best Sheitel section.

          I see your point, but in Fox's case, their jokes come from a deeper more sinister place than your average religious joke. It's not simply lighthearted mockery [which I'm cool with, btw] but pure simple racism.

          I'd like to think that this sort of joke is just the same as other religious fun-pokery, but until Fox makes similar jokes about Christians [and Christmas, Jesus etc] or Jews ... I'm going to continue to feel that Fox's jokes about Islam have a racist underpinning. Sorry [and thanks].
