      Same thing happened with my stepdad. He walked in, saw, turned around, left. Dinner was awkwaaaard. He never said a thing about it. I still don't know if he ever told my mom.

      Me too but it was my dad.

      Since I'm a girl it probably only looked like I was scratching an itch, which I was.

      I was also very young so I doubt it crossed his mind.

    I'm happy to say my mom never walked in me. On the other side of that equation, though, at 17 (late 80s) I was a shift leader at a McDonald's and was told by a very shaken mother of a young boy that I should go see what was happening in the men's room. I walked in to find a developmentally disabled guy laying on his side in the middle of the bathroom floor with his pants around his ankles rubbing one out. I told him to get dressed and leave the bathroom then turned around and walked out. As I was walking away the chaperone of the group he was with ran up and yelled at me for being "so rude to the disabled". I leaned in to her and whispered "He's laying on the floor and jerking off. A young boy saw it." I have never seen a face go so pale. Thirty seconds later the entire group was gone and never came back.

    Nothing about McDonald's training program prepares at 17 year old for that. I wonder if Der Wienerschnitzel's covers that kind of situation. Seems like it should.

      Wow. In the realm of first experiences with the disabled that's pretty up there. Not that it was your first, I'm assuming, but that's a lot for a 17-year-old to have to take care of. I'm surprised that mother didn't approach the leader of the handicapped group first. I mean, come on.
