      Just please, please leave room for Naomie Harris, the new Miss Moneypenny. I really enjoyed her in Skyfall, and I would love to see her get screen time — and not just behind some desk — in future Bond movies.

    Wow, this just shows that I'm really bad at guessing people's ages. I immediately thought that the gorgeous Michelle Yeoh and divine Sophie Marceau were older in their Bond films, but I checked and they were just 34 and 33 respectively - and in any case, Pierce Brosnan was 10 and 13 years older than them at the time. Which has also made me realise that Pierce-Brosnan-as-Bond wasn't really much older than Daniel-Craig-as-Bond, so I should just stop guessing everyone ages and use IMDB already.

      right?! I'm glad Debbie's gotten more open-minded about promiscuity, but saying that there was nothing she could do against "women like" Taylor and Jolie is pretty mean. they're not spider-ladies or something. Your dude was an asshole. Taylor just happened to sleep with him too.

    Debbie, Eddie was a jerk. It doesn't matter if he left you for Elizabeth or Angelina or whoever, what matters is the fact that he/our culture/both made you absorb the ridiculous and hurtful idea that you weren't "woman enough" to "keep your man."

    Any man or woman worth a damn and who has pledged themselves to an exclusive relationship isn't kept, or held. They in theory made a choice to be with the other person. Now, shit happens, people change, your partner turns out to be very different then you thought they were—all legit reasons to say "Hey, this isn't working out and we should talk about what we want to do."

    But just running off to cheat on your partner because the "other woman" was famously sexy or more experienced and letting the partner think it was somehow their fault, without ever bringing up any disatisfactions or problems they had with the marriage? Is just shitty. Just a low down shitty move, and it's on them. Not you.

      I don't know if it can be found on Youtube, but Debbie Reynolds was on a talk show talking about how Gene Kelly was her first kiss when they were filming Singing in the Rain. Apparently Gene in the final scene of the movie, put his tongue in her mouth and she was horrified that people did that.

    OK so my quick IMDB check and mathing has Halle Berry at 36 when she was a Bond Girl? That's not so far off from 40, so I'd call that equally age appropriate. (Even though Halle Berry quite clearly doesn't actually age.)

    Okay, I read the Real Housewives thing for... I don't know why, actually. But she stopped by a restaurant she had made reservations at, in order to confirm the reservation... and was told then, two days before the party, that they'd have to cancel because they weren't open for lunch yet.

    I'd be upset, too - why would they schedule a reservation if they knew they weren't open for lunch yet? That's totally on the restaurant, not the Real Housewife.

    And I'm really irritated I'm in the position of having to defend a Real Housewife. :p

      Yes, and she booked it at this particular restaurant because the room is purple, which is her daughter's favorite color. She's trying to do something special for her only child's graduation, and they screwed it up. I'm on her side. That said, being on a Real Housewives's side has left me itchy and nauseous. Gotta go.
